The person planning to use a direct international flight or ship and visit only the Jeju Island for tour or transit within 30 days, will be able to enter Korea without visa. But people from the following countries whose visa free entry is limited, are excluding.

Foreigners wishing to enter the Republic of Korea should possess valid passports and valid entry visas, if required. Visitors for sightseeing or transit with confirmed outbound tickets may stay in Korea up to 30 days without visas, except those from certain countries. Any visitor from a country that has no diplomatic relations or no special visa exemption with Korea should obtain an entry visa before coming to Korea.

Nationals of visa waiver countries can enter Korea without a visa as long as the purpose of their visit is tourism or temporary visit. Please check the attachment including a list of parties to the visa Waiver agreement, signed and ratified by 105 countries as of Feb 16, 2017. (download PDF)
In general, citizens of visa free countries are allowed to tour or visit Korea without a visa and to stay in the country for up to 30 days. In addition, citizens of Macau, the US, Australia, Hong Kong, Slovenia, Taiwan and Japan are allowed to stay for up to 90 days.

To request a formal PORSEC 2018 Invitation Letter for use in a visa application, fill the complete the form (coming soon) and email to secretariat.
Please note that you must have completed your PORSEC 2018 Registration payment in order to request a letter, and conference secretariat can issue the invitation letter but cannot act as guarantor
This procedure is to facilitate obtaining a visitor’s visa, not for covering registration fees and other expenses. The letter of invitation in no way commits the Conference organizers to providing financial or other support.
